LeBreton Flats, infrastructure and remediation
The project’s main objective is the development of the LeBreton Flats located in the National Capital region. The site was decontaminated in 2002 and is being converted into a dense urban area divided among residential, commercial and public buildings.
This development includes the construction of streets, a bridge and all public utilities. Public consultations were held to ensure that the project would be in harmony with the existing environment.
The project will be ongoing through 2006.
