Expansion of St. Eustache's water treatment plant
The City of Saint-Eustache plans to increase the capacity of its filtration plant from 32,000 m3/d to 55,840 m3/d in order to meet the increasing demand and conform with the most recent regulations on drinking water quality and filtration plant design. Once the project completed, the plant will be able to meet the projected needs of the community until 2018. The extension to the plant must take the following points into account:

The work also includes the design of a global instrumentation and control system for the entire plant and the other building services. The automation components of the project must be of industrial quality so as to allow life expectancy of at least 20 years. The engineering activities will be carried out by a team specialised in automation. The engineering documents prepared by the team will require that the contractor use a systems integrator during construction.
